Intervention #4 - The Covering for Shame
The moment Adam and Eve sinned, shame entered the world. They tried to cover it with fig leaves and hide from God—but their coverings couldn’t last. In this message from Genesis 3:16–24, we see how God intervenes to deal with shame, clothing Adam and Eve with garments of skin and pointing ahead to the greater covering found in Christ. God doesn’t simply cover our shame—he removes it and clothes us with the glory of his Son.
This sermon is part of our Intervention series, exploring how God steps into our broken world from the very beginning to create, confront, cover, and restore.
