What We Believe
God’s Word, the Bible, is what we learn from, grow in, and base all other beliefs upon. In fact, that is the very cornerstone of our mission here. We are here to share God’s Word to connect people to Jesus and to our caring, Christian community. Below are a few short statements about what we believe. We’d love to buy you a cup of coffee to talk about these and many other things that God teaches in his Word.

Our Statements of Beliefs
-
We believe there is only one true God who is holy, eternal, and has all power and wisdom. In the Bible, God reveals himself as Triune - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe the Bible is God's Word. It's true and without error.
-
We believe that in six days God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. He created Adam and Eve at the very beginning and made them in his image. They were perfect and holy just like him.
-
We believe that we lost the image of God when Adam and Eve gave into the temptation of Satan in the Garden of Eden. This separated us from God, unable to reconcile ourselves to him.
-
This is the best good news we can share. In love, God, the Father, sent Jesus Christ to take away the sins of all people, fully and freely given. Heaven is ours through faith in him.
-
We believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, and that he suffered and died on the cross to pay for all of our sins. Because of his death and resurrection, heaven is ours.
-
The Holy Spirit is also God, just like the Father and the Son. He creates faith in our hearts through the gospel.
-
We believe Jesus is ruling all things for the good of his people. We also believe that because he died and rose again, we have eternal life secured for us in heaven. This means that even while we will have trouble in this world, we also have peace and security in him.
We want you to have this peace.
