Elijah was a powerful messenger, one of the greats. Yet, his story is full of ups and downs, highs and lows, as he carries out his ministry. We take on his mantel and follow in his footsteps. Just as he did for Elisha, so the Holy Spirit throws his mantel over us and anoints us for sharing the gospel throughout our lives. In this series, each of us will learn from Elijah’s powerful ministry so that each of us can continue this powerful ministry today. This ministry is not just for the people paid, the called workers, and the hired team members. This is for each of us every day of our lives.
