Gathered by Grace. Scattered for Mission. DHL Sunday!

The Rhythm of Worship: Gathered and Filled

Every Sunday, something remarkable happens at Mount Lebanon Church. We gather as a community, bringing our joys, struggles, and the burdens of our week. We come as beggars—hungry for grace, mercy, and the presence of God.

Takeaway: Worship gathers us, forgives us, and reshapes us into the image of Christ.

God meets us in worship. He forgives, strengthens, and equips us to live out the calling he has placed on our lives. Worship doesn’t just leave us feeling inspired—it changes us from the inside out.

The Mission of the Church: Scattered and Sent

The heartbeat of the church doesn’t stop when the last hymn is sung. God’s people are sent—scattered into homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Every act of love, service, and diligence becomes holy work when done in Christ’s name.

As Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24:
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward."

Takeaway: Your vocation—parenting, working, studying, volunteering—is your mission field. God has called you to make it holy.

Celebrate DHL Sunday: God at Work in Our Students

This Sunday, October 5 at 9:30 am, we invite you to DHL Sunday. One of the greatest joys of our school ministry is seeing God shape our students into disciples who don’t just learn about faith—they live it.

Our scholars will lead worship through song, prayer, and sharing God’s Word. Watching them serve reminds us that what happens in worship doesn’t stay in worship—it moves with us into the world.

Takeaway: DHL Sunday is a living example of God’s heartbeat in action—gathered, formed, and sent.

Come. Be Filled. Go.

Worship is a rhythm: come, be filled, and go. Come as you are—hungry, imperfect, seeking grace. Be formed and renewed in Christ. And then go—scattered, sent out to love, serve, and work in the ways God has called you to.

Takeaway: The church’s heartbeat continues every day. Wherever you are, it’s holy ground.

Join us this Sunday, October 5 at 9:30 am, for DHL Sunday. Be gathered, be inspired, and be sent to live your faith in the world.
